Welcome to Voice Logger SA’s e-newsletter! It provides interesting recording-related and communications news that is relevant to every industry.

If you’ve been thinking about installing voice recording software, then do read about the current consumer protection law in our news column below. It will more than likely motivate you to make that important decision to finally get fitted with VoiceLogger's VOIJAVU™ system.
On another note, to those of you going on vacation over the April holiday period; take care, travel safely and, since winter is lurking around the corner, “make hay while the sun shines”. And speaking of quotes, here’s a pertinent one: “After all, the best part of a holiday is perhaps not so much to be resting yourself, as to see all the other fellows busy working.” - Kenneth Grahame |

| New Consumer Protection Law will change face of Voice Recording |
To install or not to install? That is the question, but from April 1 2011 a new law may help answer it for you…
Installing voice recording software has significant benefits: it can be used as an excellent training tool; it can help you deal with customer queries quickly and efficiently; it takes customer service to a superior level; and it accurately documents conversations, which means that there can be no misunderstandings and legal/financial agreements become binding.
Now, with the new consumer protection law coming into place this month, there should be no question as to whether voice recording software should be used in the workplace as it states that the consumer and supplier need to be safeguarded and therefore all companies should ultimately start recording their phone conversations. This way the stored information can be used for legal/contractual purposes, and, of course, there’s another big plus as it minimises paperwork.
The reasoning behind this government act is that there can be no disagreements between clients and suppliers with regards to the ordering of goods/services and the delivery thereof.
